Specifications, explained

The numbers that decide how a cast behaves — and what to watch for at each step.

Mould & release

Material Flexible silicone
Flexes away from the cast, so fine detail and undercuts survive demoulding.
Release No release agent
Non-stick as it comes — no wax, no oil, nothing to wipe off the piece.
Shapes Discs, trays, coasters, dishes, tealight holders
One mould per shape, each sized so a single batch fills it.

Timing & use

Demould 15–30 minutes
When the face stops feeling tacky, a light flex and the piece lifts out.
Reuse Rinse, dry, cast again
Water alone is enough; dry it fully before the next pour so water does not thin the mix.
Care Store flat, out of the sun
Heat and UV are what age silicone — keep it out of direct sun when it is not in use.

Finished piece

Detail Sharp edges, clean corners
The mould releases the piece instead of dragging it out, so edges stay crisp.
Faces Glossy face, matte back
The face against the mould comes out the smoothest — that is the side to keep up.
Lifespan Many casts per mould
Silicone stretches long before it tears, as long as it is stored flat.
